Revealing Good Governance in Regional Financial Reporting (Case Study on Banyuwangi Regency Government)

This study aims to determine the factors in the implementation of governance of Banyuwangi Regency so that a Reasonable Without Exception (WTP) regional financial report is obtained. This study used qualitative research methods with a focus on phenomology. Data collection through literature studies, interviews, and surveys within the scope of the Banyuwangi Regency Government. Primary data were obtained from interviews and surveys, while secondary data were obtained from literature reviews. Data analysis using interactive analysis methods. The results of the study found that leaders have a very important role in government. The leadership style applied is able to build a conducive work environment. In addition, leaders are able to motivate employees to increase performance effectiveness and productivity. This has an impact on the quality of the regional financial statements produced.
